Cannypool menghubungkan pemilik mobil yang akan berpergian dari satu kota ke kota lain dengan orang-orang yang akan berpergian dengan arah yang sama dan yah kita adalah platform yang berbasiskan komunitas. Ketika ditanya alasan mengapa kita mau memulai bisnis ini di Indonesia dikarenakan transportasi public yang tidak terlalu bagus. Mungkin kalian masih bisa menemukan bus umum tapi apakah cukup nyaman? dan bagaimana dengan jadwal perjalanannya?

Pendiri dari cannypool menemukan masalah ini ketika dia masih merupakan mahasiswa S1 di Bandung. Dia menemukan banyak kesulitan untuk booking tempat di perusahaan travel untuk ke Jakarta terutama pada saat weekend dimana semua mahasiswa universitas akan pulang kembali ke Jakarta. Dia harus menunggu di Pool Area sebagai customer waiting list agar dia dapat naik bus tersebut ketika ada customer yang cancel perjalanan mereka. Tapi apakah ini efektif karena dia harus menunggu berjam-jam hanya untuk naik ke bus.

Ketidakpastian adalah sebuah cost baik untuk pemilik bus maupun customer dan dengan menggunakan platform ini kita tidak hanya mereduksi ketidakpastian tapi kita menciptakan lahirnya jalur-jalur baru yang mungkin tidak terlalu menarik bagi perusahaan bus karena untuk memulai jalur baru, mereka harus investasi untuk bus, supir tempat pooling dan karyawan yang bekerja di area pooling. Setiap harinya ada ratusan orang yang menuju daerah-daerah yang kurang menarik seperti Jakarta ke Labuhan, Sumur, Ploto dan Pandeglang. Kalian dapat sharing kursi kosong yang kalian miliki dan menemui teman teman baru.


Cannypool are community based platform, which connects driver who traveled from one city to another with travelers headed the same way. The reason why we would like to start this business in Indonesia for the public transportation is not fully well developed. However, we had observe that people could still find a public bus to go to another city, but is it comfortable enough? Moreover, is the schedule adequate?

Our Founder had face this problem when he was studying for his Bachelors Degree in Bandung. He found out that it is so difficult to find a travel bus to Jakarta during the weekend. Meanwhile, all of the universitys students were heading back to Jakarta during the weekend. Therefore, he had to wait in the Bus Pooling Area as a "Waiting-list" customer so that he could jump in when there was a customer who canceled his trip at the last hour. As the result, this trip system is not effective yet he had to wait for hours to get himself on the bus.

The uncertainty is a cost for both bus provider company and the passengers. Therefore, Cannypool does not only reduce this uncertainty but we also develop a new route. The bus company may find our route seems to be not attractive, but hundreds of people are heading on that direction daily. For instance, Jakarta to Labuhan, Sumur, Ploto, Pandeglang. We believe that people could share their seats and make new friends at the same time.
